As we step further into 2025, the New York Animal Agriculture Coalition (NYAAC) is excited to continue its mission of enhancing the public’s understanding and appreciation of animal agriculture. This year, we’re looking forward to growing, engaging, and making a meaningful impact alongside our dedicated Board of Directors, New York farmers, and industry stakeholders. To kick off the year, we’d like to (re)introduce you to the dynamic team leading our organization and share what they’re most excited about in the year ahead.

Meet Eileen Jensen, Executive Director
Eileen is the driving force behind NYAAC, guiding the organization’s initiatives and fostering strong relationships across the agricultural industry. In 2025, she’s especially looking forward to expanding the reach of the Mobile Dairy Experience (MDE). Starting in March, the MDE will hit the road full-time, traveling to events, festivals, fairs, and educational institutions across New York State. From high schools to colleges, the MDE will offer hands-on learning experiences, connecting people of all ages with the world of dairy farming. Keep an eye out—a sneak peek at this year’s MDE schedule will be available soon!

Eileen is also focused on building and strengthening NYAAC’s relationships with industry stakeholders, ensuring the organization’s impact continues to grow. By working collaboratively with farmers, educators, and partners, she aims to showcase the essential role of animal agriculture in our communities.

Meet Hannah Johnson, Communications Manager
Hannah is the creative mind behind NYAAC’s communications, bringing stories of New York farmers and the agricultural industry to life. In 2025, she’s excited to take NYAAC’s digital presence to the next level. By expanding the organization’s reach on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, and by revitalizing content on NYAAC’s YouTube channel, NYAnimalAg, she plans to engage with broader audiences and spark meaningful conversations about animal agriculture.

In addition to her work in digital media, Hannah is passionate about building NYAAC’s brand. She’s committed to ensuring that farmers and the public understand the valuable services and support NYAAC offers, as well as the impactful experiences the organization provides. Whether it’s through creative campaigns or on-the-ground storytelling, Hannah is ready to amplify NYAAC’s voice in 2025.
