Earlier this month, we introduced Brian and Ryan – the dynamic duo behind the wheel of the Mobile Dairy Experience! Known as our “Moo-Crew,” these two hit the road with our 53-foot educational trailer, bringing dairy knowledge and hands-on fun to events across the state. Along the way, they’re proud advocates for the dairy industry, helping build appreciation for the hardworking farmers who nourish our communities every day.
What Do Ryan and Brian Hope to Accomplish with the Mobile Dairy Experience?
What happens when you bring a dairy farm, milk processing plant, grocery store, and a team of passionate educators to festivals, fairs, and schools across New York? You get the Mobile Dairy Experience (MDE) – a one-of-a-kind opportunity to connect the public with the people and practices behind their favorite dairy foods.
With Ryan and Brian at the helm, NYAAC’s MDE is rolling across the state with purpose. We asked them what they hope to accomplish in this role and what they hope visitors take away from the experience.
Creating Meaningful Connections
Ryan’s favorite part? Meeting people from all walks of life.
“It’s incredible to share information with people who know nothing about farming — but also to learn from the farmers we meet along the way.”
He especially loves watching visitors’ reactions when they learn about the modern technology used on today’s farms.
“People are shocked when they realize farms use robotics, AI, and automation. They still imagine someone on a stool milking a cow by hand.”
Brian’s goal? To help people understand the lives of farmers — the challenges they face, and the pride they take in their work.
“I want to use the MDE to share not just the facts, but the heart and soul of dairy farming. It’s about people, families, and stories that matter.”
What They Hope Visitors Take Away
