Dairy Cow Birthing Center

The Dairy Cow Birthing Center, hosted by the New York Animal Agriculture Coalition (NYAAC), is taking a pause for 2026.

This year, the Great New York State Fair will take place Wednesday, August 26 through Monday, September 7, 2026.

NYAAC will be host to the Dairy Discovery Center on the West End of the fairgrounds, located right next to the Mobile Dairy Experience. Throughout the 13-day State Fair, fairgoers will have the opportunity to visit with farmers, volunteer, and agricultural industry representatives to learn more about the NY dairy industry.

We look forward to meeting you at the NYS Fair this year. We have some fun plans for social media while we’re at the Fair so stay tuned to Facebook & Instagram, @NYAnimalAg.

“Being part of the NYAAC team for more than a decade has allowed me to share the positive story NY dairy farmers. As an advocate for agriculture, it’s my honor to help the farmers who helped me get to where I am in life, personally & professionally.”

More than Calves

The Wall of Knowledge showcases the benefits of dairy products, agricultural career opportunities, and how farmers care for their animals. It is just one of the many opportunities to learn more at the NYAAC managed dairy exhibits.

We are excited to showcase a few animals, much larger than uddermiracles, in the Dairy Discovery Center. Come visit and learn what happens to calves after they leave the Birthing Center each year and how they grow and develop in each stage of their life.
