Cooper Patterson
I began my involvement in FFA in 7th grade at Camp Oswegatchie. Over the following years, I attended several conventions and conferences and competed in several LDEs like Prepared Public Speaking and Agricultural Issues. A highlight was my team’s work on the relevance of bringing whole milk back to schools; seeing that the law was recently passed through the White House makes the experience feel even more impactful. From community service and plant sales to parades and travel, these experiences have been invaluable. I am currently at Cornell University studying business, grounded by my agricultural background and a deep appreciation for what makes this country run. In the future, I plan to pursue entrepreneurship to solve real-world problems while traveling the world.
Noelle Milhollen
My passion for agriculture began at a young age, growing up in a family deeply involved in the industry. Through experiences in livestock production, dairy, maple syrup, and agricultural education, I developed a strong appreciation for agriculture and its impact on our communities. Throughout high school, I was actively involved in 4-H and FFA. As a member of the Wyoming County 4-H Livestock Program for over 10 years, I exhibited market hogs and broiler chickens. In the Perry FFA Chapter, I served as Treasurer and President, and made connections through the agriculture community that I am forever grateful for. I am currently pursuing a degree in Agricultural Communication at Iowa State University. On campus, I am involved in Block and Bridle, Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow, Swine Production Advocates, and the Collegiate Cattlemen’s Club. I also have an internship with the Franklin County Extension Office, where I am gaining valuable experience in agricultural outreach and education. Through these organizations and other professional experiences, I continue to develop my leadership, communication, and industry knowledge. My goal is to advocate for agriculture, educate others about the industry, and help strengthen the future of agriculture through communication and leadership.
Taylor Costa
Hello everyone my name is Taylor Costa I will be a sophomore at SUNY Cobleskill Ag & Tech this fall. I am an agricultural business management major and agricultural education minor. I am apart of multiple club on campus Block and Bridle, Farm Bureau/PAS, Dairy Cattle Club, and Ag-Business club where I am serving at the Public Relations this coming year. I am also still active member in my local 4-H, Dairy Ambassadors program, FFA, and Farm Bureau. This summer I am continuing my work in the agricultural industry by working part time with a hoof trimmer on a local dairy operation and working at a farm to table catering operation and catering services. My future plans after my degree at Cobleskill will to get my master in agricultural education online at SUNY Oswego. Then I want to find an agricultural teaching position at a high school around me and become an FFA advisor. While also working on my family’s beef farm and expanding it into a bigger operation.
