2025 Scholarship Details:
The NY Animal Agriculture Young Advocates Scholarship remains steadfast in its mission to empower the next generation of agricultural leaders in 2025. This year, NYAAC is increasing the scholarship amount, awarding two young individuals $1,000 each—a testament to the organization’s dedication to supporting students pursuing careers in animal agriculture.
The eligibility criteria remain consistent with a few refinements:
- Open to New York residents enrolled in college in Fall 2025 OR non-NY residents attending a New York State university as a full-time student.
- Majors include a range of disciplines, such as Livestock Management, Dairy Science, Agricultural Education, Agriculture Communications, Agricultural Business, or Animal Science.

The announcement of the two scholarship recipients will take place in May 2025.
Each recipient will be awarded $1,000 upon providing proof of attendance through an official transcript and maintaining at least a 2.5 college GPA.
